Little Hoopsters Summer League

Who: Boys & Girls in Grades 1-2 (entering in the fall)

When: Tuesday nights | June 17th - August 12th, from 5:15 - 6:15 PM

Where: Cornerstone Church outdoor courts, Warwick, RI.

*This is a recreational and developmental league. Register as an individual and we will place on a team. This program has sold out every year!

Players will be placed on a team (coed-division) based on their skill level (recreational or travel level). Please indicate skill level in registration process.
The league starts on Tuesday June 17, 2024 and concludes on Tuesday August 12, 2024 (no games on Tuesday July 1 or 22).
Rain nights on Thursday evening of the same week.
6 week regular season and playoffs.
Outdoor court location in Warwick, Rhode Island at Cornerstone Church.
This league is focused on skill development and teaching the rules of youth basketball on an 8 foot hoop.
Each game week consists of a 5 minute warm up, 15 minute skills practice directed by a head coach followed by a 24 minute game. The goal of this league is to develop skills, learn the game in a moderately competitive setting.
Once summer league games start, registration is non-refundable.

Chairman of the Advisory Board for Warwick Youth Basketball. Jim is a high school Business teacher at Bishop Hendricken High School, coaches the Warwick Veterans Middle School Boys Basketball team, and has won six travel basketball state championships and a New England Championship over the last four seasons with these boys and girls teams. Jim is also a former Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Warwick Veterans High School, and coached the Sherman School Unified Basketball team this season.
