Boys Recreational Summer Small Group Workouts

Recreational Summer Small Group Workouts are for players looking to have fun & practice basic basketball fundamentals. Each workout is skill/drill based that focuses on individual ball handling moves & proper shooting form. Players will compete in a 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 game at the end of each session.

Director:
Eric Simonelli: Co-Chair of Warwick Warriors Travel Basketball. Former Varsity Head Coach at La Salle Academy & The Prout School.
Eric is committed to develop the youth basketball program in Warwick, Rhode Island as a dedicated resident, father of school age children & seasoned coach. Eric is the Co-Chair for Warwick Youth Basketball & the Director of College Counseling at La Salle Academy. He is a former State Championship Head Varsity Basketball Coach at La Salle Academy & The Prout School with 20 years of coaching experience.

Michael Valelli: 
Mike attended La Salle Academy where he started for two seasons on the Boys Basketball Team & helped the Rams win the 2015 Rhode Island State Championship. Mike was also a two year contributor to the Rhode Island College Men’s Basketball Team.

 

WHERE & WHEN:

MONDAY:
at DelGudice Outdoor Basketball Court, Palmer Ave, Warwick, RI.
Rising Grades 3-8: 5:30pm-6:45pm

WEDNESDAY:
at Oakland Beach Outdoor Basketball Court, Oakland Beach Ave, Warwick, RI.
Rising Grades 3-8: 12noon-1:15pm

DATES:
Session I: June 29. July 1,6,8,13,15,20,22.

Session II: July 27, 29. August 3,5,10,12, 17,19.
*Spots are first come first serve & limited per court. If sessions are full, players will be put on a waitlist but we will do our best to add sessions, if possible. Rain dates are on Tuesday and/or Thursday evening at the same time as a scheduled workout.

COST:
Session II = $190 (Every Monday & Wednesday)
Session II = $100 (Choose Monday or Wednesday)

*If you are registering for either Warwick Boys Program for more than one child or multiple sessions/camps, please review the 3 step instructions below:

  1. On the payment screen of a registration, there will be a button in the top right to add another registration
  2. Click on add registration, they can either select the child profile that is already created, or create a new one for an additional child.
  3. Next, “Choose a different program” that will allow you to select a different session/camp to register for.
