Girls Competitive Small Group Summer Workouts are for experienced (typically travel level) players looking to improve their fundamental skills in a structured environment. Players will work on advanced shooting techniques & ball handling concepts as well as playing in competitive 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 game at the end of each session. The court will be split up into small groups at each basket & are directed by experienced coaches.
Eric Simonelli: Co-Chair of Warwick Warriors Travel Basketball. Former Varsity Head Coach at La Salle Academy.
Eric is committed to develop the youth basketball program in Warwick, Rhode Island as a dedicated resident, father of school age children & seasoned coach. Eric is the Co-Chair for Warwick Youth Basketball & the Director of College Counseling at La Salle Academy. He is a former State Championship Head Varsity Basketball Coach at La Salle Academy & The Prout School with 20 years of coaching experience.
Jim Garcia: Director of Instructional Basketball (K-2) for the Boys and Girls Club of Warwick.
Jim is the Director of the Instructional (Grades K-2) Basketball Program. He is passionate about teaching basketball skills in a city where he grew up & currently resides with his family. He is a member of the Travel Advisory Board & is a former Assistant Basketball Coach at Warwick Veterans High School.

Rising Grades 3-5: 5:30pm-6:45pm
Rising Grades 6-8: 6:45pm-8pm
*Spots are first come first serve & limited per session . If sessions are full, players will be put on a waitlist. Rain dates are on Tuesday at the same time as a scheduled workout.
Session I: June 29. July 6,13,20. (Sold Out)
Session II: July 27. August 3,10,17.
