Travel Summer League

Who: Boys & Girls in Grades 3-8 (entering in the fall)

When: Monday Nights | June 16 - July 28 | Playoffs | Week of August 4

Where: Narragansett, North Kingstown, Warwick, Stonington, CT, Barrington, Seekonk and Tiverton outdoor courts | Teams will play their games at the closest available court location

Team Requirements

Teams should be members of RIYBA or have played the Metrowest Youth Travel Basketball League during the 2024-25 winter season. Advanced 3rd graders can choose to play in the 4th-grade division if approved by the league commissioner. Teams must provide their uniform (same color jersey) with a number on the back. All individual free agents MUST be approved by the league commissioner.
Registration is open from Thursday March 20 – Thursday, May 1.
A minimum of five registered players guarantees your team a spot in the league. Each division will have at least four teams per grade. If a fifth team registers, it will be placed on a waitlist until a sixth team joins the division.

Important Information

Over 70 teams from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and southeastern Connecticut competing.
Individual registration is $110 per player.
Each player must register as an individual and choose their town/city team in the drop down menu (8 player minimum).
No free agent registrations unless approved by the league commissioner.
Boys and Girls Grade Divisions set up by league commissioner (A or B levels if applicable).
Pre-season scrimmage on Friday June 13th from 5:15-9:15 pm (optional). Two optional practices per team during the season.
The league officially starts on Monday June 16th and concludes on Monday July 28th (no games 4th of July week). Playoffs are the week of August 4th.
1 game per week on Monday evenings (format of two 16 minute halves with the last two minutes of each half stopped time).
7 total guaranteed games and 1 pre-season scrimmage (6 regular season and 1 playoff game). 1-3 playoffs games in a single elimination format (up to 10 total games).
The rain night is Wednesday.
