Our South Kingstown Basketball Camp is designed to cater to two groups of participants: Experienced Players and Junior Ballers.

For Experienced Players:

  • Skill Enhancement: Our camp provides a structured and fast-paced environment for experienced players, typically at the travel level and in rising grades 4-8, to enhance their basketball skills. Beyond the fundamental skills of ball handling, passing, and shooting, players will engage in competitive games of 1 on 1, 3 on 3, and 5 on 5.
  • Application of Concepts: During competitive games, players will have the opportunity to apply concepts learned in drill stations to real-game situations. They will learn how to set and use screens, as well as develop an understanding of playing in a motion offense.
  • Experienced Coaching Staff: All coaches are experienced adults who provide expert guidance and instruction to help players refine their skills and elevate their game to the next level.

For Junior Ballers:

  • Introduction to Basketball: Our camp offers a structured setting for boys and girls in rising grades 2-3 who are looking to learn the fundamentals of basketball.
  • Focus on Basic Skills: Junior Ballers will focus on fundamental skills such as dribbling with both hands, passing, shooting form, defense, and rebounding. These skills are taught in a supportive and encouraging environment, ensuring that each player receives the attention they need to develop their skills effectively.
  • Adjusted Baskets: Baskets will be adjusted down to 9 feet to accommodate the skill level of Junior Ballers, allowing them to participate in skill competitions and play 1 on 1, 3 on 3, and 5 on 5 games at an appropriate height.

Both groups will benefit from a structured environment where they can develop their basketball skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game of basketball. Whether you’re an experienced player looking to take your game to the next level or a junior baller just starting out, our camp has something for everyone. Join us and take your basketball journey to new heights!
