18TH ANNUAL SOUTH KINGSTOWN SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP 2023

August 15 – 18th

This camp is designed for two groups of participants:

  • Experienced Players (typically travel level in rising grades 4-8) boys and girls looking to improve their skills in a structured, fast paced environment. Beyond the fundamental skills of ball handling, passing and shooting, players will have competitive games of 1 on 1, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5. During these games they will take concepts used in drill stations and apply them to game situations. Players will be taught how to set and use screens, and ultimately learn how to play in a motion offense. All coaches will be experienced adults.
  • Little Hoopsters (rising grades 2-3) boys and girls looking to learn the game of basketball in a structured setting. This group focuses on the basic fundamentals of the game (dribbling with both hands, passing, shooting form, defense and rebounding). The baskets will be adjusted down to 9 feet to allow players to have skill competitions and to play 1 on 1, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 games.
