  • Teams should be members of RIYBA or have played the Metrowest Youth Travel Basketball League during the 2023-24 winter season. Advanced 3rd graders can choose to play in the 4th grade division. Teams must provide their own uniform (same color jersey) with a number. 
  • Individual registration is $100 per player. 
  • Each player must register as an individual and choose their town/city team in the drop down menu (8 player minimum).
  • No free agent registrations unless approved by the league commissioner.
  • Boys and Girls Grade Divisions set up by league commissioner (A or B levels if applicable).    
  • Pre-season scrimmage on June 12th (optional). The league officially starts on Monday June 19th and concludes on Monday July 31st (no games 4th of July week). Playoffs are the week of August 7th.
  • 1 game per week on Monday evenings (format of two 16 minute halves with the last two minutes of each half stopped time).
  • 7 total guaranteed games and 1 pre-season scrimmage (6 regular season and 1 playoff game). 1-3 playoffs games in a single elimination format (up to 10 total games). 
  • Outdoor court locations are in the Warwick, Narragansett, North Kingstown, and Stonington, CT.
  • The rain night is Wednesday.

Little Hoopsters League

Boys Rising Grades 3-4B Level 

Girls Rising Grades 3-4 

 

  • Individual Registration ($125 per player, includes a t-shirt). Please indicate skill level in registration process.
  • Each game week consists of a 15 minute skills practice directed by the head coach followed by a 30 minute game (15 minute halves). The goal of this league is to develop skills, learn the game in a moderately competitive setting.
  • This division is focused on skill development and teaching the rules of youth basketball (9 foot basket for girls, and 10 foot basket for boys).  
  • The league starts on Monday June 19, 2023 (4th of July week will be played on Thursday July 6, 2023). *No games on July 17, 2023. The league concludes on Monday August 7, 2023.
  • 1 game per week, 6 week regular season and playoffs are on the 7th week. 7 total guaranteed games  (up to 8-9 total games).
  • Boys and Girls Divisions. 
  • Coaches can form their own team or participants can register as a free agent and will be placed on a team.
  • Free agents will be drafted by a coach or selected to a team by league commissioner.
  • 8 player roster minimum.
  • Outdoor court location in Warwick, Rhode Island at Cornerstone Church. 
  • The rain night Thursday.
