CLUB BASKETBALL LEAGUE (CBL)

Higher Learning Basketball’s Club Basketball League (CBL) is an invite only youth basketball league for boys and girls.  Teams selected are affiliated AAU programs, designed by a respected coach, be a competitive town travel or middle school team. The commissioner of the league will approve all entries into the league.  The objective of the CBL is to allow teams to play competitive games against like opponents, and have the convenience of playing another sport in the spring while staying involved with competitive basketball. 

 

 

 

About the CBL

When: Friday May 12, 2023

Where: Mass Premier Courts, 97 Green St, Foxborough, MA 02035

  • $200 per team which includes two games in a three hour period of time.
  • All games played in on Friday nights.
  • Each game is 30 total minutes (15 minute halves stopped time) with two board certified officials.
  • Play a game, sit a game, and play a game for convenience purposes. For example: 5 and 7 PM or 6 and 8 PM games.
  • $7 admission fee (cash only) for adults, children under 12 are free.

GAME DAY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Team jerseys/uniforms with the same color and numbers.
  • A head coach to manage the team.
  • The home team will provide a scorekeeper (official book) and the away team will provide a clock operator.

BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE CLUB BASKETBALL LEAGUE

  • Teams will be matched against out of state opponents when possible.
  • High-level of sportsmanship expectations by players, coaches and parents.
  • Quality board certified officials. Officials will only ref 2-4 games maximum per night.
  • Low cost, low admission fee, and games played all in one evening/day.
